ORTHOPAEDICS

About Department

● The Department of Orthopaedics runs with Five Units.
● Each Unit by turns attend to patients in OPD, Wards, Emergency& Operation Theatres.
● It attends to patients with Trauma related to extremities & spine as well as other Orthopaedic problems.
● All major surgeries related to Trauma, Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Spine & Congenital
Abnormalities are routinely performed in this Department.
● The Department runs in Room No. 3 of common OPD building & patients are admitted in
wards B-1, B-2, B-3 & B-4 in the New Surgical Block.
● The Operation Theatres are located on the 1st Floor of the Surgical OT Complex.
It has 4 Major & a septic OT.
● A separate Orthotic & Prosthetic Work Shop adds to the routine facilities to the patients.
