Introduction

Immunohematology and blood transfusion is among the youngest and fastest developing fields in the medical world. The department of IHBT was established in 2011, to provide teaching to students of M.D. (IHBT).

 Department also provides teaching for technicians training course, post graduate M.D. students from other branches who are posted here.

 Students from other faculty such as social work are also regularly posted here to encourage blood donation.
