OPHTHALMOLOGY
INTRODUCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT
|
The Department of
Ophthalmology at Government Medical College, Vadodara, provides comprehensive
eye care services along with academic training. The department runs a busy
Outpatient Department (OPD) for
diagnosis and management
of various ocular diseases. A well-equipped Operation Theatre (OT) complex
facilitates a wide range of ophthalmic surgeries.
The department also plays
an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through
regular teaching activities, clinical training, and academic discussions. With
facilities covering major
ophthalmic subspecialties,
the department aims to deliver quality patient care while contributing to
training and research in Ophthalmology.
